Happy New Year to y'all - hope you enjoyed some relaxing days! Happy

To begin 2010 with more musical output, here are two Jon Silva remixes for From P60. "Over The Sea" had been on From P60's acclaimed album "Realize" on Italy's IRMA Music which got released last March. The tune was released as a single with a couple of great remixes just today so make sure you check out Jon Silva's Soda Inc. Remix and Jon Silva's Futuristic Funk Remix on Beatport.

Dimiz & Ogi Gee Cash - Vocalizer (Jon Silva Remix)

We told you about the remix Jon Silva did for Dimiz of the Kondukter crew based in Nish, Serbia. Apparently, the tune works quite well...hehehe! Check the vid, starting at 05:10 and pay attention to the crowd at around 07:42 (hint: put your hands up in the air)!

You can buy this remix on Beatport: Dimiz & Ogi Gee Cash - Vocalizer (Jon Silva's Vocalize This! Remix)

Jon Silva remixes for Timo Garcia & Ricky Stone and Dimiz & Ogi Gee Cash out now

Exclusive on Beatport since 12th December already, there's a DeepTech remix by Jon Silva on Ricky Ryan's Sick Watona label. There's a huge bunch of remixes by the likes of Tyrell, D:Fuse, Nosmo & Kris B and many more so the release was divided into two parts. Check out "Driving Olivia" on Beatport.

Another guy you may have read about on this page is Kondukter's Dimiz. He already booked Jon for several gigs in Nish, Serbia and now, Jon Silva has remixed his "Vocalizer" tune on Balkan Connection. "Vocalizer" is a coop of Dimiz and Ogi Gee Cash. The pack of remixes contains works by Cid Inc., Luke Porter and a couple of other artists. Check out Jon Silva's "Vocalizer" remix on Beatport.

Jon Silva remix for Subsky out now!

subsky_this_is_true_dutchie_150pxpng
Subsky, the charming Istanbul resident with countless releases on renowned labels such as Urbantorque, Forensic and Acryl also provides a long list of smashing remix works.
christBesides his tunes appearing in hundreds of DJ sets and on high profile compilations (Ministry of Sound, Global Underground and Universal to name but a few), he also contributed to our Pesto 010R release "New Way" by From P60.

It was about the time to give something in return and that's how Jon Silva remixed "This Is True". Original, Ryan Mishkin and Jon Silva remixes were just released through Miami's Dutchie Music and without any doubt, this one is going to burn.

Check out the whole release on Beatport and make sure you have it in your box for the next gig.

Pesto 011R: Sandra Lima - Higher (incl. Justin Michael & Torin Rea remixes) excl. on Beatport

pesto011r_reflect
After the original release of Sandra Lima's "Higher" on Pesto 011 received lots of raving feedback, airplay and CD compilation placements, we thought it was about time to give you the second remix pack.

Pesto 011R comes with another bunch of amazing remixes, complimenting the original release very well stylewise. Remixers here are Hermosa's Justin Michael who recently gained a lot of attention through his production and remixing skills, making his tunes a staple for any club-oriented DeepHouse DJ. Justin delivers a pushing and edgy DeepTech mix, including an instrumental version.

Jon Silva's Clap Clap Mix is pure club madness and will make your audience shake what they got. Prepare for an armageddon-like break down - if you prefer the tune with or without Sandra's vocals is up to you.

Torin Rea of West Coast Collective is a fresh talent, also based on the US West Coast. His Soul Rub is pure funk, the Motown vibe gives a great debut for Torin on Pesto who adds the typical left coast flavour to this release.

For all you acapella addicts, we've also included the vocals backed up by the infectious little groove from the Clap Clap Mix.

Pesto 011R by Sandra Lima is available exclusively on Beatport.

Traxx 004: Da Funk - Roasted (incl. Jon Silva & The Mulder remixes) exclusive on Beatport

traxx_004_reflect
We took quite a break on Traxx, but here we come with our next release. And it was worth waiting for it!

Traxx 004 comes from Switzerland's Da Funk who runs the renowned Acryl Music label and gained quite some attention with his productions and remix works recently. Da Funk has been putting out original tunes on Forensic, Plastic City, Pesto and, of course, his very own Acryl Music. His tunes got licensed to a bunch of hi class compilations such as Café del Mar and his productions and DJ mixes are a staple of radio stations such as Ibiza Sonica, Frisky Radio or Ibiza Global Radio. He was also our guest on the PestoMix radio show on danceradio.gr on 20th July 2008 (download available here soon).

If you're familiar with our catalogue, you might have noticed that Da Funk has already released his amazing "Electronic Love" via our smashing compilation "2.0 - The Next Generation Of Pesto Artists" and we also had him as a remixer for our Pesto 005 release. So it was just a matter of time until Da Funk would be present on our Traxx sublabel to contribute a pure summer tune, full of deepness, groove and soul - exactly what you'd expect from a bangin' Da Funk production.

Support comes from our in house artists Jon Silva and The Mulder who are both well known guests on the global download charts and playlists to round up this diverse and arse-kicking release. No doubt - Traxx is back!!!

Jon Silva remixes coming your way!

jonsilva_reflect
After last year's summer of remixes (pt. 1 and pt. 2) was quite successful for Jon Silva, this year is not any worse.
Jon has been asked to remix tunes by Scope on Urban Torque, Andy Sant on Detroit's Kolour Recordings, Orlando Vaughan on Duff Note, Aki-Tek on Red King/Ministry of Sound and Sebastian Davidson on both New York City's Glideslope and our neighbours Clubstar.

Some of those mixes are already finished (despite some took ages - sorry Ateka), some are work in progress. As soon as these releases will be available, we will let you know and provide further information. So long, please find out more about these excellent artists and labels by clicking the links - we're sure you like their stuff!
